Warped Tour @ Pomona 6/20/08 (Punk/Rock)

Today at Warped Tour, (6/20/08) in Pomona, CA, Started off with a long and slow line to the press area. After lugging around video equipment, finding where we were supposed to be, setting up it was all UP hill from there.

We pushed our way to the front of the press area me, Carlos, Melody, and Saul and started doing interviews. We got interviews with Reel Big Fish, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, The Color Fred and tons more... Those video interviews will be posted over the next few weeks.

Now down to a review of what little I saw of the show between promoting and interviews. Gym Class Heroes, I Caught the last two songs, the first was a cover of a hard core song, it sounded really good, but I didn't expect that from them at all and their last song was a new one for me but it was great, good beat, everyone was into it.

Next band i saw was Jeffree Star, Heard some new songs and they were good, a million little girls but besides that he did a great show, good stage performance.

I saw a bunch of other bands, most of them were amazing, good punk bands, but if you have ever been to warped tour than you know how hard it is so find out who is playing on what stage at what time so trying to remember what bands I saw is a little fuzzy.

I met a lot of good people such as the band BlameShift, the guys from Old Shoe Records, Letters Burning, the guys from HollyWoodMusic.TV and a big hi five to Libby H.

Besides the Heat and the dirt, this first tour date really kicked off the tour well and with full force. There is still a ton more tour dates posted on www.warpedtour.com
