Tyler Boone

Challenge: Find a more genuine, harder working musician than Tyler Boone. Actually, just go ahead and give up because it is not going to happen. Growing up in the Lowcountry, Boone first became enamored with the subculture of Charleston's punk/metal scene, before eventually expanding his musical palette to include the blues/pop-laced influences that are sprinkled throughout his more recent releases.

Boone released his first ever King City (October 12, 2012) Changing Pace, (producers Jeff Leonard Jr. and Eric Rickert) which demonstrates a unified, confident sound that can only come from a heavy dose of touring and a band that has become comfortable exploring the boundaries of their collective sound. Changing Pace was featured on "What's New" on Spotify the week of it's release and featured in Performer Magazine as an Editor's Pick.

Opening up for such acts as Platinum record selling artist Edwin McCain and Zach Myers from Shinedown. Grammy award winning artist such as Christopher Cross, Hootie and the Blowfish, Mark Bryan, American Idol Winner Lee DeWyze, American Idol Finalist Elise Testone, Band of Horses, Old Crow Medicine Show, Manchester Orchestra, Minus the Bear, The Avett Brothers, I-Nine, Ben Rector, Sol Driven Train, Alpha Rev, Ghost Owl and even The Dirty Guv'nah's, Boone is well on his way to becoming a major act himself.

Tyler has been nominated as Singer of the Year, Singer/Songwriter of the Year & Song of the Year "Home" in the Charleston City Paper Music Awards 2013
