We were really stoked to be seeing this Canadian Death Metal band play a show. The bar was so hot once we walked in. We were inside for about 10 minutes and already our faces were sweating. We had shown up at just the right time because we showed up just before The Agonist were setting up.

Then the lights turned down and red lights were beaming. The members Alissa White-Gluz(Vocals), Danny Marino (Guitar), Chris Kells(Bass), Simon McKay (Drums), & Chris Adolph (Guitar) came onto the stage and started the music right away. I have listened to their music over & over on my stereo, but I was blown away by how great their sound was on a small stage that didn't have the best sound quality. Alissa White-Gluz's vocals were amazing. Her growls synched perfect with her melody. The musicians were right on track and I loved how much fun all of them were having.

They were very friendly with the crowd. And a few people joined on stage to wish the Alissa a happy birthday. She told us that it was the best happy birthday she ever got. I thought it was a sweet moment.

I looked around as they were playing and there were many fans in this small bar singing along and dancing and thrashing around. I have to say I was one of them in the conformity of loving this band. This 5 song set had given the crowd everything they had wanted.

We left excited for the next time we could experience this band. If you ever get the chance to see The Agonist live, take it. You won't be disappointed.
