How do you guys like working with Beartrap PR?
we love it, chuck daley is a god among men. its such a great thing for independent bands.
Do you have any upcoming shows?
we don't, i'm actually on tour with fake problems right now, but when i get home we plan on recording a new full length!
What give you the most instiration for your lyrics?
personal experiences, i guess? it could be heartbreak, it could be about what i ate for breakfast. just anything.
What is the title of your latest album?
Forget Forget, Derive Derive
How many songs are one it and how long did it take for you guys to finish the recording?
its a 5 song ep and it took us about 3 days. everything on it took about 1 or 2 takes, we were really just in and out when we recorded. we were really happy with the end result, though.
Could you tell us a little about it?
matt whitson recorded it at his personal studio, he also recorded our first full length! you can get it on interpunk.com, itunes, or locally in birmingham.
What is the best thing about playing music?
probably touring. meeting new people all around and everyone has this same drive and love for independent music. its a cool thing.
Any funny stories about a fan that stand out the most?
we have played this local music festival 2 years in a row and there are always so many drunkies there and thats always interesting.
Do you guy have any tours in the making?
we toured this summer up the east coast, hopefully we'll go out west soon!
What do you think about UFOs?
they're really scary, i've seen atleast 2 maybe more.
What religion are you guys and does it effect your music?
we're not really religious so it doesn't affect us much at all.
What do you think of vegetarians?
i am one! they rock.
What do you guys do for work right now, other than playing music?
i'm playing music as work right now, everyone else is in college.
What were some of your favorite bands growing up and what bands have influenced your band the most?
we all have really different tastes but a few we can all agree on are:
jawbreaker, screeching weasel, minor threat, guided by voices, x, descendents, lots and lots and lots

Do you have any promoting secrets that you would like to share with our readers?
not really, just if you're going to book/promote a show, do it right. make paper flyers, put them up all over town, make online flyers and post them everywhere.
