One day I was testing my friend Wendy and she was telling me how excited she was to hear the new Taking Back Sunday album. So I asked her what she thought of it and of course she said she loved it. She then told me I should listen to it. Listen to it? Me? I've never heard a whole Taking Back Sunday song all the way through to this point. I explained to her that ears have changed and that I'm more open to other music now than before but I wasn't sure what to expect. I guess I'm growing up. Yeah! I don't think so. The next day I scooped me up a copy and popped it in my stereo and well well what do we have hear? To my surprise I actually liked it.

Taking Back Sunday released their 5th studio album on June 28th, 2011. This album marks the return of their original line up.

Since I'm not much of a emo/post hardcore music listener I really didn't know what to compare this to. What I can say is that I like the diversity in the vocals, the breakdowns have me wanting to hear them live busting my ear drums, but the lyrics of this album is what connects me to Taking Back Sunday. I heard the CD about 5 times before I put lyrics to the music but when I did that it made me like those songs a whole lot more. I would have to say "Faith (when I let you down)" , "Sad Savior" , " Who are you anyway?" , "This is all now" and " You got me" are my favorite songs on this album.
