What is your website? myspace.com/resistanceanaheim

What genre is your music? hardcore/other

What are some of the shows you have comming up? feb 4th the alley w/ rob carson

Who got you interested in playing this kind of music? seeing local bands get on stage and having alot of fun doing what they do, and our general love for the scene.

What is music to you? everything.

How did you come up with your band name? it was just a name that sounded good at the time. we individually feel different about it, some being for negative than others

What other bands have you been in, why did they end or how are they going? we were all in alot of other bands. from the top of my head, xUntil It Bleedsx,Praise The Fallen, Voice of The Martyr, Bloody Aftermath, An Gels Plague, and probably more

What venue would you like to play the most that you haven't played at? Showcase for sure.

What venue has been the best to play at? The Alley. The atmosphere is really great there that we never find at other venues. The staff are all cool guys as well

What city or area has been the best place to play? Anaheim. nothing beats your hometown

What city or area has been the worst place to play? we've done shows in LA that were pretty rank. some parts are really bad.

When, Where and How was your first show? it was @ The Alley some months ago. It went really good, but we've all grown alot since then.

How have you seen yourselves get better since then? yes

Where was your best show? i think one of the best we've played was at Hogue Barmichaels. We had alot of support that day, and it all went smooth.

What makes a show the best? fan base for sure. if people arent there for you, it doesnt matter if your the greatest band in the world.

Who do you one day want to play a show with or open for? Bloody Sunday, Seventh Star, or Alove For Enemies. Those are our main influences.

Why do you play music? Personally its an escape from everything else that is fake, which is nearly everything. everyone in the band is druge free, so we look to music to be our adrenaline.

What makes you strive to be heard? its all our dreams to be in a well known touring band just for our own personal sake, and we love making new friends.

What inspires most of your lyrics? personal experiences is what our singer mainly talks about, but they are formed into a practical version that everyone can relate to.

Why would anyone want to hear your music? im not sure that everyone would want to hear our music! haha.Well we are proud of what we do, and no not everyone is proud of our music, but were trying to find the ones who are.

What you are saying thru your music? stay positive, lose the booze, dont take your family for grantite, and have fun.

How many people in the band right now are the original band members? (explain new members) we are all original members. in the pat we did go through alot of band members, but i think we found the perfect blend.

What brought your band together? that fact that we are best friends.

When was your band formed? October of 2006

Where do you wish for your band to be in 5 years? on tour across the country, sleeping in tents and eating raw top ramon.

What do you think its going to take to get there? Working day by day to improve what we love most, and meeting important people along the way.

What is the best thing about being your band? we are so close to each other that virtually anything is acceptable. were closer than brothers.

Where have you been playing lately and how has your response been? locally Chain Reaction, The Alley, Hogue barmichaels, and various backyard gigs. Some are going to be better than others, but we havent hit a bad show yet.

Do you have any advice to starting bands? It doesnt matter how talented your band is. Half the talent is staying together, and if you find people who share the sam goals and view you do, stick with them.

What do you want to see happen thru music in the future? i dont know that much more could happen in the future. i mean there are so many genres and styles floating around that it truly amazes me. personally i would like to see more gfemales get invloved in music.

What are you doing to progress those ideas? nothing at all!

What other instruments can (each person) play (other than the ones they currently play in the band)?i play bass, tuba, and baritone horn. Dyaln can play the french horn. Scott used to play alto, tenor, and barritone sax, and david palys guitar and piano.
<BR>What religion are you? david, dylan and i are all christian, and our drummer is more agnostic i think.

Does your religion effect your music? defintley. in the style we play, there are alot of bands that preech "anti-God" and we strife hard to stay away from that scene completely. im not going to get deep into the topic or anything, but it amazes me.

Any funny or interesting stories? our drummer is asian, and his family is asian to the max, so we found it funny how they had this old dog named lucky, and it died, and they bought a new dog and named it lucky.

What do you think about UFOs? i think the goverment is behing it, and George Bush is sponsoring.

What do you guys do for work right now, other than playing music? were all still in school, but our drummer works @ ginos pizza on beach and cerritos.

Did your parents like you playing when you were younger?yes. they've always supported

Do your parents like you playing music today? not so much.

What were some of your favorite bands growing up? as for me, mt favorites include Zao, Dredg, and Nodes of Ranvier, and the band as a whole Seventh Star, Zao, Comeback Kid, and Jerez.
What would you say to a kid who has no faith in himself? i wouldnt talk to a kid with no faith in himself.

What would you saw if you saw yourself as a 10 year old kid playing at the park? (words of advice) i would tell me to always listen to my parents and take the blue pill.
How old were each of you when starting to play instruments?i was about 11. David has been playing since before then. Dylan was more a sports guy, and scotts played Dragon Ball-Z with his cousins

Do any of the members of the band play in any other bands? Scott plays in An Angels Plague, and david is starting a side project soon.

Have you lost any fans for doing something drastic? (like moving to a bigger label, changing your sound, ect) weve never made any drastic changes thank God.

Every bands music changes over the years, but do you like playing and the style of the old stuff? we try hard to maintain our older sound, but as time progresses with almost any band, your sound will change.

Anything you would like to say to your fans reading this interview? we always have tickets for some show, so just ask!

Have you ever been on tour, how many and how did they go? we are scheduling a tour this summer with Oblisk. We are defintly lookinf forward to it because there all really cool guys and there sound is unique.

How does it feel to tour with the band members? it is the best thing in the world touring with your best friends.

What do you guys do on the road to keep busy? listen to NWA

What's your latest cd? "Watch Your Mouth" EP that you can pick up at any of our shows.

How did you come up with the title? it was inspired by Bloody Sunday

How long did you wait from start to finish making the CD and how did it feel? (did it take to long, or go by fast) it didnt take long at all. maybe 3 days tops. by the end of recording, we were so happy to be done, and we were very satisfied

Any advice for anyone thinking about making a CD? always go with good recordings no matter how much the price.
