What is the title of your latest album?
Its a self titled 7" EP actually put out by the fine folks at Team Science
Records
How many songs are one it and how long did it take for you guys to finish
the recording?
Its got 4 songs on the vinyl version and a bonus track on the cd version. It
took a little while to complete the recordings. Matt actually was still
living in Ohio when we started recording the material, we finished it up
after he moved down to Texas.
Could you tell us a little about it?
All the music we actually recorded ourselves in various bedrooms. Matt has
some pretty basic gear but a great ear! He recorded one of the songs at his
house back in Akron Ohio and we recorded the others at several different
houses we lived in last year and earlier this year around the Houston area.
We used a computer program and one microphone, we are pleased with the way it turned out!
What is the best thing about playing music? Any funny stories about a fan?
Do you guys have any tours in the making?
The best thing about playing music is travelling and meeting new people and
i guess selling records. Those are the best things. We are not yet positive
that we have any fans, so we dont have any ' funny stories' we'll see what
happens once we hit the road, which will be in about 3 weeks.
What do you think about UFOs?
Um UFO's are real. OR.. are you really asking if we believe in Aliens? Thats
two differrent questions you know, if that was the case though, we are
infact x-files fans, so yes
What religion are you guys and does it effect your music?
We are both non-religious however we believe in being good human beings and living good lives. I think most of our songs support these beliefs. Just be cool to others and live good life
What do you think of vegetarians?
Matt is a veggie eater, so we think vegetarians & vegans are awesome!
What do you guys do for work right now, other than playing music?
We both have silly day jobs, that afford us the opportunity to mail things for free, play on the internet and watch tv all day.
What were some of your favorite bands growing up and what bands have influenced your band the most?
As far as bands that have influenced our music collectively, i would point to : Ruebens Accomplice, Mock Orange, John Vanderslice & possibly Mike Kinsella.
Do you have any promoting secrets that you would like to share with our readers?
We do have some promoting secrets and they are as follows: Work Hard & Have fun, if you are not excited about somethng, why should anyone else be?
