I know this show was a week ago, but I almost feel compelled to write this review on Good Friday. I remember last year on Good Friday I saw Bad Religion and Tiger Army at the Santa Monica Civic Center. This is probably like the 20th time I've seen Bad Religion and you'd think I'd be tired of them by now, but they have so many songs that I hope one day I could say I heard most of their songs live. Bad Religion this time around are playing era's in their career. Of course, they are throwing all the classics in their set, they are focusing on eras. This show I hoped would be an early years era show, but man was I way off. They played a lot of their new material like Honest Goodbye, Requiem for Dissent, New Dark Ages, Los Angeles is Burning, God's Love, Supersonic, and the Defense. Yeah they threw in the usuals like No Control, Recipe for Hate, Infected, American Jesus, Sorrow, Suffer, and Atomic Garden. About 1 hour into their set they stopped and played Dearly Beloved and my favorite Bad Religion song and the song I would never hear live Bored and Extremely Dangerous. In the breakdown of Bored and Extremely Dangerous the band went to their instruments and played the second half of the song live. Awesome!! I'm gonna end my review on that note 'cus it was the highlight of the show for me. Go see Bad Religion whenever you can and you won't be disappointed.
